Huge shoutout to my buddy Matt for stepping up and helping me install these windows! Today's video took a few days to film, as a lot happened! We start by fixing the holes in the roof of the cap, then move on to cutting and shaping openings to install some sliding windows! I had the cap for a few months but noticed a huge blind spot when shoulder checking on the highway. I know cargo vans and other trucks have these blindspots, but I also couldnt access the front of my bed easily anymore. The windows I got were from a camper allegedly, and measured perfectly* to fit in my cap. All in all, I think it was a pretty decent success, but I would do things differently next time. I would likely have the leading edge be up top instead of the bottom of the front of the cap. Or look for more rectangular windows instead of sloped ones. I plan on adding lights next to the cap, and maybe a hinge switch.
