Unlike conventional printing, Batik uses a resist method, where hot pitch (traditionally wax) is stamped onto fabric to create patterns before dyeing. 🔹 Meet Reyhaneh A talented artist and expert in traditional handicrafts, Reyhaneh welcomed us into her workshop to show how Batik is done in Iran. From preparing the silk fabric to applying the intricate patterns, dyeing, and finally revealing the stunning designs, she walks us through every step of this mesmerizing process.
