Demaree Disaster? Why I Reversed the Split.

In this video, filmed on May 23rd, I return to Hive 1 at The Honey Herd apiary for a full inspection — and to undo a mistake I made during my recent Demaree split. Without drawn comb in the honey supers, the Demaree setup wasn't ideal. So in this session, I reverse the manipulation and bring the hive back to a double brood box configuration. I also check thoroughly for signs of swarming and remove several queen cups along the way. I'm still learning as I go, and this video is a real look at what beekeeping is like when you're just starting out. Mistakes happen, and it's all part of the journey!
