After a rather long break I'm back to publish something here on my main channel and that's about last weekend in Imola during the final round of the 2024 Dunlop CIV, acronym for Campionato Italiano Velocità (which translates into 'Italian Speed Championship'), which includes the most important Italian track series for motorcycles here in Italy. The CIV weekends include various categories and series ranging from superbikes derived from the series to those for young talents, as well as some extra and one-make championships. Some of the official series present were: Superbike, the highest category of the CIV Supersport 600 Next Generation, perhaps my favorite class with lots of entries and screaming Japanese engines Supersport 300, a championship open to bike like the Kawasaki Ninja 400 or the Yamaha YZF-R3 Moto3, which for CIV uses a 450cc engine from the Yamaha YZ450F MY2022, compared to the 250cc used in the World Championship Moto3 PreMoto3, a one-make series which uses the Honda NSF250R MR03 CIV Femminile: women's category of the CIV with Supersport 300 bikes Others series at this round were: National Trophy 1000, with lots of superbikes SSP 300 Women's European Championship, which competed together with the women's category of the CIV with Supersport 300 bikes Trofeo Aprilia RS 660, one-make series of the great Italian sportsbike Yamaha R7 Cup, a championship for the YZF-R7 with a “gentleman rider” formula Enjoy some raw sounds and action form the Italian track!
