This event brings together culture professionals, youth workers, and mental health advocates to explore the vital role that artistic and cultural practices can play in improving youth mental health across Europe. The primary aim of this roundtable is to share valuable artistic and cultural practices that contribute to better mental health for young people. We will also discuss the key elements that make cultural youth projects effective, and identify the challenges that need to be overcome. Through this event, participants will have the chance to learn from leading experts in arts and health, as well as from each other’s experiences, to deepen their understanding of how cultural practices can benefit youth well-being. Eity, Speaker for the Youth Sunita Pandya, National Academy for Social Prescribing, UK Nik Dee-Dahlstrom, Storyteller & Cultural Manager – Arts, Health, and Youth Specialist at Swedutainment, Sweden/ Finland Alice Iliescu – professional artist, associate professor at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania & Anamaria Tomiuc – cultural manager, associate professor at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, Romania Karilė Mozerytė, Coordinator of Education, Visitor Experience & Volunteers (MO Museum), Lithuania The CARE project is co-funded by the European Union.
