DIY Carbon Air Filter - Easy and cheap!

Parts List: 6" to 4" reducer 4" union 4" end cap 6" end cap 1/2" by 1/2" Hard wire mesh 2* 4" hose clamps 2* 6" hose clamps Nylon stockings Activated carbon Spray foam or caulking Prefilter(not seen in video) You can make this DIY Carbon filter whatever size you want, Just size up the outter 6 inch stuff for more volume of activated carbon. You can shorten the mesh to any length of filter you want as well. I forgot to mention the prefilter. I found Duststop air filter 30x64 sheet for $10 at the local hardware store. Update: This filter took just over 3 bags of activated carbon. I've had it running for a couple months now and everything worked as expected. Next time: I would probably build it with the 1/4" by 1/4" hard wire mesh. There really isn't any need to go bigger, and the smaller one is about $5 cheaper.
