The petitions are ways to express our anger, disgust, and objection to chi-na rule. Hongkongers should have the right to determine our own fate, be free from oppression by a totalitarian regime, and proudly establish our own Hongkonger identity. The first step towards self determination is to make it be known to the world that chi-na has unilaterally violated the Sino-British Joint Declaration and asserted their illegitimate authority in Hong Kong. The lies are exposed, masks and disguises removed, evil fangs are out. Do think about this. How many more petitions you and I can sign before chi-na will forcibly rob us off this right? If we stay mute today, there is no one but ourselves to blame for the death of Hong Kong.
