Filming Date: Thursday 24th July 2025 Filming Location: Bushmills The 2 mile long narrow gauge heritage railway from Bushmills to the Giant's Causeway, which opened in 2003, operates services every day during the summer, as well as on special occasions such as St. Patrick's Day and Easter. The journey between the 2 stations takes half an hour, as the current 'tram train' that the railway uses (built by Severn Lamb & Co. in 2010) only has a maximum speed of 5 miles per hour. It consists of one diesel locomotive and 3 unpowered carriages. There is a pathway that follows the entire railway line that is very popular with locals including myself as it goes right by the sea at some points, and through the trees at other points. This video was filmed when I was out for a walk alongside the railway, and the train is seen passing the footpath just north of Bushmills station with the 13:30 service from Bushmills to Giant's Causeway.
