We're not very familiar with the Grime genre and this is the first reaction/review we've done of a grime artist. But Wiley gave us a pretty positive impression on the genre and him as an artist. Wiley blended a really great mix of classical and boom/bass instrumentation over a plethora of bars that were gonna need to go back to to catch. (There's a lot of colloquial slang we naturally do not understand). Banger after banger, this album is explosive and aggressive. The main critiques we would have is 1. The length. 2. There are a handful of filler tracks that could be removed to create a more punchy album. 3. Apparently there was a mistake with track 1, Birds n Bars with the latter half apparently suppose to be on the start of track 2 as 'Bring Them All'. Good album, a nice experience of Grime for us from a veteran in the game. Jungle Beat’s Radio is Australia’s plug to the best prolific unique hiphop artists in the world. Alexander Mann & Alex Sandalis host one of Melbourne’s few, and best HipHop radio shows JBR is purely about creatively sharing our love for music and hiphop with energy, positivity and passion. We started this in 2015 with a live 1 hour hiphop show on on SYN 90.7. In August 2016 we decided to create Jungle Beats Radio. Here's the thing, Australia has no solid hiphop identity. Who do you think of when you think hiphop in Australia? You think of 99 people OUTSIDE of this very country. Well maybe we can change that in some small way. This endeavor through radio and music is not what either of us focus the majority of our time on. Working on Jungle Beats Radio is side hustle of ours. So it’s not going to be perfect. It’s gonna be messy, haphazard and we’re gonna fuck up. But that’s music and we love it.
