Last Running Day on the CVLR

A cavalcade of locomotives and rolling stock marking the last running day of The Coombe Valley Light Railway. This was a rather wet day with occasional sunny intervals. We had a large turn out of the membership of the East Devon Area Group of the 16mm Association. All of us mostly clustered together in the covered steam-up area. There was only one dry spot for the camera that did not get in the way of operations. The happy helpful chatter of a typical meeting can be clearly heard in the background as we all tried to stay as dry as possible in the limited dry space. The track has now been lifted and this delightful line will be greatly missed. Our hosts were as kind and generous as ever. 16mm scale, 32mm gauge, live steam locomotives, garden railway.
