THIS VIDEO: In the late1980s, Peter Lindbergh dared to do what few fashion photographers had done before: he portrayed models as real people. He’s famous for being the photographer most closely associated with the emergence of the supermodel phenomenon in the 80s. His fashion and portrait shoots looked more like chance, moments from a reportage feature. Lindbergh was one of the first photographers to include a narrative in his fashion photos.
