Making money from a home workshop - Making a precision weighing frame.

A customer has asked me to make a prototype liquids weigh frame for him. This is an ideal opportunity for my small home workshop to make a bit of money for itself. I think we all dream of our home workshop making a bit of income but it can be hard to do. Space is typically very limited and home shops are not always the best equipped. This job however is ideal for my home workshop. The weigh frame is a relatively simple part that does not require much space to make. An ideal opportunity for the home workshop to earn some money. Now opportunities like this don't come along every day so I asked my customer if I could share the process with you all and he very kindly agreed. However I can not tell you exactly what it is for because of commercial sensitivity. What I can say is that it is for measuring the discharge of various high value liquids in an semi automated production process. The weight frame is all made from 316 stainless steel and has a 0-10Kg measuring range and a +/- 1g resolution. If you like the videos I make then please consider sharing them with your friends.
