The Desecration Rag No. 2, "An Operatic Nightmare" by Felix Arndt! I discovered this charming medley a few weeks ago and thought it was the perfect mash-up to celebrate my long-time love for Ragtime and my exciting new foray into the world of opera. Composed in 1916, there are several well-known operatic themes sprinkled throughout the piece (some in greater length than others) but you'll no doubt recognize at least a couple! Each theme is labeled in the video in case you miss it or want to look it up for yourself later.
