In this totally serious, not-silly video, I walk you through the various ways you can redraw boning channels. While I’m focusing mostly on 18th century stays in the video, since that’s what I’m making currently, I also show you ways the same theory can be applied to corsets from the 19th century and beyond. After all, a boning channel is just a set of parallel lines, right? Follow me as I walk you through step-by-step to take a half-boned set of late-18th century stays and redraw the channels to make it fully boned.
