Join us for our longest short film yet, as we embark on a 7-day family summer vacation to the Mesabi Iron Range of northeast Minnesota for some weather, wind, and fun flying in some unique bush planes. Only after uploading did I realize the folly of my statement. Maybe I should have qualified "...in Minnesota." If you've ever visited Lake Hood in Anchorage, or been near Kenmore Air on Lake Washington in Seattle, you know there's places with more float traffic. I think this is the last time I use the DJI Osmo in the cockpit. The footage is nice and stable but it's just weird to fix the horizon while the cockpit moves around. It feels post-stabilized even though it is not.
