I made this garden bench for a local wedding venue and I thought that I would give SketchUp a try and make a model of the build. Well, it was a success and I'm hoping that this video along with the model and the cutlist, will help ya'll build a bench of your own! I used rough cut cedar that had some voids in it, so the black areas that you see on the wood are epoxy filled. You do not need to use cedar for this project, but cedar is a great choice for any piece of outdoor furniture due to its rot resistant properties. You also don't need a domino joiner to complete this project. Dowels will work just fine or even hand cut mortise and tenon.
