ABOUT ERIC STRIFFLER Since 2004, Eric has been creating various projects on the internet including movie/TV commentary series Pretty Much It and improv comedy series Pity Applause, as well as IRL projects including writing & directing the immersive theatre production Nyctophobia and producing the off-Broadway show The Life & Slimes of Marc Summers. PLOT In Baby Geniuses (1999), Dr. Elena Kinder (Kathleen Turner) and Dr. Heep (Christopher Lloyd) use BabyCo and its theme park, Joyworld, to fund secret experiments on babies, believing they are born with universal knowledge and communicate through a hidden language called Babytalk. At age 2–3, this knowledge is lost as they "cross over" into speaking regular language. Babies are adopted from orphanages and turned into geniuses via the Kinder Method. One toddler, Sylvester "Sly" (Leo, Gerry, & Myles Fitzgerald), escapes and unexpectedly meets his normal twin brother, Whit (Myles Fitzgerald), in Joyworld. The two share a telepathic bond but don’t know they’re siblings. Mistaking Whit for Sly, guards take him back to the lab, while Sly is taken home by Whit’s adoptive mother Robin (Kim Cattrall), Dr. Kinder’s supposed niece. Dr. Kinder discovers the switch and sees it as a research opportunity. She later learns that Dan Bobbin (Peter MacNicol), Robin’s friend, can understand babies. When retrieval efforts fail, Dr. Kinder plans to relocate the facility to Liechtenstein and keep Whit. Meanwhile, the babies hypnotize Lenny the bus driver (Dom DeLuise) to rescue Whit. Sly reprograms Joyworld robots to fight back. During the rooftop showdown, Dr. Kinder reveals she and Robin aren't related. She is arrested, and the twins finally cross over, losing their genius. Dan and Robin adopt Sly, but the babies' secrets remain hidden from adults. In Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2 (2004), Media mogul Bill Biscane (Jon Voight) plans to use a satellite system to control the world's population. A group of intelligent toddlers—Archie (Michael Iles), Finkleman (Jordan Scheideman), Alex (Max Iles), and Rosita (Maia Bastidas)—team up with the legendary Kahuna (Leo, Gerry, & Myles Fitzgerald), a super baby with extraordinary abilities, to thwart Biscane's nefarious scheme. Assisting them are Stan Bobbins (Scott Baio), who runs the daycare center, his wife Jean Bobbins (Vanessa Angel), babysitter Kylie (Skyler Shaye), and Kahuna's aide Zack (Justin Chatwin). Together, they confront Biscane to prevent his mind-controlling broadcast and ensure children's freedom worldwide. Baby Geniuses and the Mystery of the Crown Jewels (2013), the Treasures of Egypt (2014), and the Space Baby (2015) follows the Baby Squad Investigators, or B.S.I., as they pursue Big Baby (Christopher Bones), his father Beauregard Burger (Andy Pandini), and the international thief Moriarty (Jon Voight). #babygeniuses #jonvoight
