As parents we really like the educational and conservation aspects of the show. The Octonauts search the ocean for various forms of sea life (the Octopod comes wth a few different sea creatures). The Octonauts also focus on how to protect ocean life and other aspects of conservation. Notes Comes with four removable pods - each pod serves a function - Kwakaii's living quarters, A kitchen, and a medical quarters Each pod has an attachment hanging from it.... chairs, anchors, and other devices. Barnacles and Kwazaii are included - each can sit in the escape pod or stand on the base. A trap door let's the Octonauts shoot out of the Octopod and into the ocean. Unlike some of the other Octonaut play sets this one can not be used in water. Final Verdict - The Octopod makes a nice base station for any fan of the Octonauts.
