Here's a link to their website: https://themechanisms.com/ Also it turns out that in canon, Mordred's adoptive mother died and he probably wasn't royalty with ghouls and with the humans, but I think the changes I made were fun for the purposes of adapting this one song. (It also makes [spoiler] more [spoiler] at the end, amirite?) I first began the original storyboards for a storyboarding class at miami-dade college. My best friend in high school had showed me High Noon Over Camelot and I was hooked because of how much I adored the King Arthur legends and the drama behind the character of Mordred especially in all his tellings (it probably is the source of my love for patricidal characters -- hi Darkheart). So I created the original animatic for a class, and then when I went off to university, I decided to use that as a basis for a more "clean" version in 2021. In a single semester. That was, uh, a mistake! But I had friends who came in clutch in helping me finish the assignment on time, who get shout outs at the end for helping me with some backgrounds, motions, or full blown shots. So if you get jumpscared by a radically different artstyle midway through... well, I loved my friends too much to edit it out now. QwQ Yes, I did sit on this for basically four years. I wasn't really ready to post again. With the release of Skin and Bone, that treasure trove of videos I was sitting on for years has been set free. I still have a few ideas of videos I'd love to make, but they'll take time. Some are niche love letters to media I love (Emperor's TTS I see you), some are for other D&D OCs, and some are long-held ideas for fandoms I used to love, like specific battle cats, but how far it goes depends on the support I get from the people around me and viewers like you.
