PM Modi welcomes Trump’s 21-point plan to end Israel-Hamas war at Gaza | Palestine

welcomed US President’s 21-point plan to stop war in Gaza after 2 years of conflict. PM Modi refers to “comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict” in his post on X, as he praised Trump’s plan. Plan provides pathway to long term & sustainable peace, security & development for Palestinian & Israeli people, he posted. He also appealed other world leaders to support Trump’s initiative for peace in the Middle East. Support this effort to end conflict & secure peace: He appealed to “all concerned” in West Asian region. Trump proposed 21-point plan to secure peace and promote “peaceful co-existence” of Israel and Palestine. Plan demands the immediate release of all hostages, living or dead, after both the parties agree to proposal. Plan proposed Gaza to be governed by transitional Govt of Palestinian technocrats under international watchdog. However, it does not specify the circumstances and process of securing Palestinian statehood. Hamas repeated said that it will not give up arms until Palestinians are still struggling for statehood. Plan explicitly excludes Hamas from Gaza’s governance, and stops Israel’s annexation of Gaza. As it advocates for security guarantee for Israel, it also bars Israel from attacking Qatar and other Arab nations.
