Recipes for todays video: Breakfast Apple Crisp 5 baking apples juice of half a lemon 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon 1 1/2 cup rolled oats 3/4 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup 1/2 cup coconut oil Slice all the apples and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine all the other ingredients and spread over apples. Bake at 350 for 35 to 45 minutes or until apples are bubbly and juicy. Serve with yogurt, cottage cheese or milk. Ricotta Cheese 5 cups whole milk 3/4 cup cream 1 tsp salt Add to a stock pot. Bring to steaming hot, but not boiling 185 degrees F. Add 1/4 cup lemon juice, turn off unit, and let sit on hot unit for 10 minutes. Do not stir, just let it sit. You will see the curds separate from the whey. When the liquid becomes a clear yellow tint, with no milk in it, strain it. Use a linen tea towel. Strain out liquid. Add more salt if needed. Serve with pasta, with lasagna or pizza. Spinach Artichoke Chicken Bake 4 boneless chicken breast cut thin 1 cup chopped fresh spinach 1 (14oz) can artichoke hearts chopped 1 package of cream cheese softened 1/2 cup mozzerella 1/4 cup grated parm 4 cloves garlic chopped salt and pepper Place chicken breasts in 9x13 baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix all other ingredients and spread over chicken. Sprinkle with extra cheese. Bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Reuben Sandwiches 1,000 island sauce 1 1/2 cup mayo 1/3 cup minced onions 4 cloves garlic minced 2 tsp horseradish sauce 2 tsp worstshire sauce 1/3 cup chopped sweet pickles pluse add some sweet pickle juice salt and pepper to taste Loaf of sourdough bread sliced Sliced corn beef sliced swiss cheese sauerkraut Italian Pork tenderloin bake with Brussel sprouts and butternut squash Brown Pork in cast iron skillet with butter Chop veggies and place on baking sheet covered with foil or parchment. Once pork is browned on all sides, add it to sheet pan. In cast iron skillet, add 1/4 cup butter and 1 tsp Italian herbs. Saute until butter starts to brown. Pour over pork and veggies. Stretch and fold for 2 hours. Ferment for 4 to 6 hours. I sped up this process by adding 2 tsp of yeast. There will be more than enough for pizza. Split the dough in half.
