Aqara Vibration Sensor Toilet and Trash Can Setup and Review

Today I setup and review the Aqara Vibration Sensor (Zigbee) connected to HomeKit via my M2 Hub. I test out its vibration sensitivity on my toilet bowl, in an attempt to prevent wasting water when my toilet flapper fails to go down all the way. I also test out its tilt sensitivity on my garbage can to alert me when my dog gets into the trash. Please let me know of you have any comments, suggestions, or questions. I left the sensor on the water line overnight, and today I had several successfully triggered events. Despite showing a "good" Zigbee signal yesterday, today it is showing "poor". It makes me wonder if the problem is not the sensor, but rather a poor Zigbee signal. Perhaps the solution will be having a repeater somewhere between my hub and the sensor.
