Oof, Sims 4 Journey to Batuu did not go over well with the community. As far as controversy goes, this on is huge. I have never seen so many angry and upset players in the community and so much hate for a Sims 4 game pack before. This isn't just Sims 4 toxic community drama or a Sims 4 rant, this is an angry community rising up and telling EA what they think of this new pack. It wasn't just the pack was a bad idea, it was the lies and the false advertising the trailer created too. When people got their hands on the Sims 4 Journey to Batuu game pack, they realized that a lot of what they saw in the trailer was pretty set dressing and not much else. Like most Sims 4 packs, there was some hype but that quickly turned to rage as the community found out that they couldn't change the world or do a lot of the things they were excited to do.
