Bill Pullman, the 2017 Woodstock Film Festival Excellence in Acting honoree, stars in the "Ballad of Lefty Brown," screening at the festival, and can also be seen in festival alumni Alex and Andrew Smith's "Walking Out," Fox's "Battle of the Sexes," and Electric Entertainment's "LBJ." Additionally, he can currently be seen on the hit USA television show, "The Sinner," this summer's highest rated program. Pullman is most known for his role as President Thomas J. Whitmore in "Independence Day," as well as his role as Lone Starr in "Spaceballs." Additional movie credits include "Trouble," "Walking Out," "Independence Day: Resurgence," "The Equalizer," "Surveillance," "The Cove," "Bottle Shock," "Scary Movie 4," "The Grudge," "While You Were Sleeping," "The Last Seduction," "Mr. Jones," "Malice," "Sleepless In Seattle," "A League Of Their Own," "Newsies," "Ruthless People," and "Lost Highway." Moderator Martha Frankel is the Executive Director of Woodstock Bookfest, the host of Woodstock Booktalk , celebrity interviewer, and a published novelist.
