DIY Sofa Table Console | Behind the couch shelf with charging station and lights

We just purchased an amazing sofa for our media room, it can fit the whole family and has underneath storage plus a fold-out middle section allowing everyone to put their feet up. The only problem is that when sitting on it you cannot reach you drinks or easily use a device while it's charging. In this video I show how I designed and made our own sofa table console to solve the problem. I am by no means any expert carpenter but I love creating and building things from scratch and the end result suited us perfectly.
