Conduit Bending: Parallel Kicks Part 1 Link below:    • Conduit Bending: Parallel Kicks Part 1   In this video I will be showing you how to layout and bend Parallel Kicks. I mainly just go through the steps I don't go into too much detail about the formulas because that was thoroughly explain in part 1 already. This video is basically a real time example of bending parallel kicks with a hand bender using 3/4" EMT. I'm looking forward to doing the last part of this mini series which will be an example of parallel kicks with a hydraulic and or electric bender. In this example I am bending a set of 30 degree parallel kicks. Conduit #1 is bent to 6" kick and #2 is bent to an 8" kick. The multiplier is 2 for a 30 degree kick. Also when placing your mark on the conduit it should be measured from the back of the 90 degree stub and bent with the 30 degree center mark on your bender, wether it's a hand bender or hydraulic bender makes no difference it's the same process. Reminder: Don't forget to keep the 90 degree stub parallel to the floor and level before bending or the conduit will get dogged, plainly it won't be straight. Also keep it level when you are checking to see if you have the right measurement for your kick.
