Disappointing Swift Challenger Caravan - Review including Faults & Issues I have experienced

Certainly my Swift is an example of one of the beautifully laid out UK caravans available these days. But in 50 years of Caravan I have never had so many build quality and design issues. You go to any of the caravan shows or caravan dealer to buy a caravan and you see all those beautiful shiny vans, you just assume that they are well built and will give you many years of trouble free caravanning with few caravan problems. Caravans I have bought in the past have all given good service so you naturally expect a modern caravan to be even better. There are plenty of caravan shows to tempt you, like The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC in Birmingham, The Yorkshire Motorhome and Campervan Show at Great Yorkshire Events Centre, Great Yorkshire Showground, Southern Motorhome and Caravan Show at the Newbury Showground, Priors Court, Hermitage Thatcham, Motorhome & Caravan Show 2025 at the National Exhibition Centre, Pendigo Way Birmingham, The Malvern Caravan & Motorhome Show 2025 at the Three Counties Showground, Great Malvern. Don't get caught out with a caravan like mine that seems to give endless problems. Check the caravan reviews carefully and try to judge whether the reviews are genuine user experiences or are paid for by a manufacturer. They may be honest reviews or they may containing marketing wishful thinking. Review of the same caravan may say very different things! It is just a summary of the problems and faults I have had, some fixed under warranty some by me when in the UK or caravanning abroad. This has cost me considerable time. If you add it all up the cost of parts, travel, and my time (which has a value), it has cost me thousand of pounds extra on top of the not inconsiderable cost of the caravan. (even warranty repairs take my time to get the caravan to the dealer and back, register the fault with Swift, explain the problem to the dealer). I will be adding new detailed videos of each fault, failure, issue, problem, warranty repair, as I get time to do it. Here is one: Perhaps I am unlucky with having so many faults with this Swift Challenger Caravan, but one of my son's bought another model of Swift caravan at the same time, a Swift Sprite Major 6 TD, and he has had a lot of problems too. If the build quality problems I have encountered are a regular occurrence, then there is a question to be asked of organisations like the NCC (National Caravan Council), Camping and Caravan Club, Camping and Motorhome Club, Trustpilot and Google Reviews, who are there, in part, to represent the interests of the caravan buying public /members. Are they stepping up to the plate?
