The Greina Plateau, a pristine alpine tundra, lies between Graubünden and Ticino. It's been a key passage across the Alps since the Roman era, but its remoteness has preserved its wild beauty. The 6km-long, 1km-wide plateau is a protected landscape with unique biodiversity. Numerous springs feed its streams, creating meanders, ponds, and fens. You can reach the plateau from five points in Graubünden and Ticino, with four huts for overnight stays.
