Biking in Northern BC shouldn't be the secret that it is. This Place is UNREAL GOOD. If you think of the biking scene in British Columbia, you probably think about North Vancouver, Whistler, Squamish, or even Pemberton. But there are so many great areas to explore, and they all boast some of the best MTB trails in the world. Smithers, BC is one of those zones. And we only stumbled upon it when our #vanlife dreams crumbled because our Ford Transit broke down 8 hours north of Smithers, and needed a tow to the closest Ford dealership. What a happy accident. Because these trails were absolutely legendary.
