How Mycorrhizae Can Improve Plant Quality

Some of you may have heard of mycorrhizae; It's actually a beneficial fungus that comes to you live looking a lot like kitty litter. High spore count, it lands in your garden and propagates, attaches itself to the root, just like you see here forms microscopic hyphae that then work to get out into the soil solution, collect up nutrients and water and pull them to the root. At the same time, the root supplies the mycorrhizae with sugar so it's a symbiotic relationship. Studies with this stuff have determined it'll make the root system on plants two to three times more affective. Imagine that, that's a lot of nutrients, that's a lot going on. So get it in a little small packet or a big packet, apply it to your garden, six inches within the soil and don't disturb it. Certainly don't use and chemical fertilizer or chemical fungicides or insecticides as that could kill the mycorrhizae. But you'll see the growth you see in giant pumpkins, world class giant tomatos and things like that, pretty cool.
