Not Long Ago é a última faixa do álbum de estreia solo do DJ Yella, o “One Mo Nigga Ta Go”, lançado em 1996 sob o selo da gravadora Street Life Records. Todo o álbum “One Mo Nigga Ta Go” é um tributo do DJ Yella ao Eazy-E, mas nessa faixa que encerra o álbum, soa como se DJ Yella estivesse se abrindo sobre como se sentia sobre a perda de seu amigo, lembrando dos bons momentos que teve com ele. Como o próprio disse, ele foi um dos únicos que ficou com o Eazy-E até o final, sendo o único membro do N.W.A presente no funeral dele.
