Here's a delicious key lime pie recipe. Great balance of sour, sweet, and salty from the crust! Flavour explosion!!!! Crust: 1 cup graham crumbs 2 tablespoons of butter, give or take... I use a chunk about the size of a lime a little bit of sugar and/or vanilla (optional, and only use less than a teaspoon of vanilla) Filling: 1 can sweetened condensed milk 4 egg yolks 1/2 cup blended lemon and lime juice (a little more if desired) 1-2 teaspoons of zest from a lime (optional, and best collected before the lime is cut in half for juicing) Process: -preheat oven to 350 F -melt the butter and mix it into the crumbs until consistent, then pack onto pie dish -bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes -while the crust is baking, make the filling -mix everything except the juice really well and once that's done gently stir in the juice until the mixture is consistent -by this point your crust should be done so just pour the filling in, make sure it's level, and stick in the oven for another 10-12 minutes, still at 350 -once out of the oven let cool for 20 minutes or so then stick the pie in the fridge and wait for it to be fridge temperature, will probably be a couple hours BONUS Whipped cream: 1 small carton of whipping cream 1 tablespoon of sugar -whisk together until properly whipped AND THEN STOP WHIPPING BEFORE YOU GET BUTTER LUMPS
