Welcome to my remix of quite an underrated theme 👀 NEO BOWSER CASTLE ILLUSION!! That name does not roll of the tongue at all but AYYYY!!!! 🪩🕺🏻💫 Now, gosh this song is good. I was scrolling through the Dream Team OST… trynna find a hidden gem. Found some cool songs but once I stumbled across this one… it immediately caught my attention. I loved the rhythm it had going and I’m not kidding, the second I listened to the full thing, I already knew the vision I had for it. A somewhat trance remix! I started working right away 😈 Sadly, there’s no transcriptions of it online so I had to make it by ear but that’s no biggie for me nowadays since I have experience in doing that. If I tried to do this a couple years back, it would sound a whole lot different 💀 and in a bad way… But anyways! I wanna talk about how weird this song is. I believe it has a time signature of 3/4. Which made it kinda off putting to make into a dance track. I think I did a good job of keeping the flow going though. That was my biggest concern when tackling this one. I was scared that since it’s not in 4/4, the drums may not carry well. But all is good in the end 😎👌 I got this song done surprisingly quick, probably because of how committed I was to making such a strange dance track. I also got the art done pretty quickly too! If I had a dollar for every time bowser was sleeping in one of my thumbnails, I’d have two dollars, which isn’t a lot but it’s kinda weird it happened twice 😅 I went with a totally neon purple scene for this one to really capture that feeling I get from listening to the remix. I feel like neon purple goes hand in hand with clubs and dance tracks if u get what I’m sayin. I love the whole vibe I’ve got going on in this upload and I really hope you guys enjoy it as well!!!
