In my first video of Helga, I did not have full knowledge of the game's timing window but I did some reverse engineering to figure out exactly how it worked and then started making changes to Helga. This is optimal barring the possible use of the 200ms bug which I think would make this video considerably more difficult to watch. Everything here could potentially be done by a human but won't. I hope no one actually finds something improvable here because I don't want to have to make a new video. I would like to give a shoutout to ukogmonkey and Blu3Metal for reviewing the bot's performance with me and suggesting tweaks which resulted in the score you see before you. I am pretty sure at least two of the squeezes in this video have never been hit by a human. Some info on Helga's behavior: • Helga whammies every note right now. She has the functionality to stop whammying if needed but that isn't used in TTFAF. She whammies softly which is why it is somewhat hard to notice. • Helga will strum every normal note on time unless told otherwise (such as on the third activation). • While under starpower, Helga will hit every note as early as possible. • Helga will never drop a hold note early • Helga activates starpower and hits notes on the same frame. • Helga will wait until the point is reached where waiting until the next frame would cause her to miss the note before activating Some data on GH3's timing window: Front window: 116ms Back window: 100ms or half the distance to the next note, whichever is smaller Hammerons have a smaller front window than strum notes (86ms). You cannot choose to strum a hammeron to hit it earlier as the game will ignore the strum. The back window of hammerons shrinks in the same manner as strum notes.
