Fully Fused Fireworks - British Fireworks Championships (Plymouth 2021) first team day two and 2nd place prize winners. Amazing display with vivid colours and powerful shells This was a two day event held on the 18th and 19th of August 2021. Each team has a rigging area of 35m x 7m. There is a 16 crew limit on each team and while there are no limits on the amount of individual fireworks each team uses there are NEC (Net Explosive Content) limits of minimum 450Kg and 550Kg maximum. Before the shows teams have to submit lists of what fireworks they will be using and this is checked by adjudicators during the rigging of the shows. In the past each show would start after 3 salute shell but this has now change to a system of 3 colour shells red, amber and finally green. The judging starts after the green shell. The show should be designed to last 10 minutes and teams can be penalised for running over.
