This video documents my first and only visit to the Towne Square Mall in Owensboro, KY, in August 2023. Three weeks later, on September 5, 2023, the mall would close for redevelopment. There were still a number of tenants in the mall, and some have found new homes while others have not. I shopped in a few stores, and talked to the clerks and at least one mallwalker, who shared their memories of this mall and told me how much the community would truly miss it.
