Making external boning channels with pressing bars

A short demonstration of how to make external boning channels for corsetry. Here the corset and the channels are made from the same fabric, very fine herringbone coutil in mink. The pattern, style and finish suitable for 1895 - but the same technique can be used for other corsets including modern ones. Other fabrics can be used for channels as well, though bear in mind they need to be durable - if using silk, strengthen it with coutil or fusible layer.
