Explore the ancient Roman settlement of Municipium Malvesiatium at Skelani through this immersive 360° VR video. Skelani Archaeological Site site exemplifies how a native Illyrian tribal center was absorbed into the Roman Empire, drawn by the region's valuable lead and silver resources. In the 70s AD, during the Flavian era, Skelani was elevated to municipal status. Roman officials, residing in luxurious urban villas adorned with intricate frescoes, mosaics, and an advanced hypocaust heating system, managed this strategically important location. Among the villa's treasures is the famous Medusa mosaic, created by an artist from a Roman colony on the Dalmatian coast, dating back to the middle to late Roman Imperial period. Step back in time and uncover the rich history of Skelani through this captivating VR experience. 👀👍 Find out more and follow us: #️⃣ Instagram: http://bit.ly/3lcsrOn 🤳 Facebook: http://bit.ly/3jwzEbO 💫 Oculus: http://ocul.us/3YlzSkP 🌐 Web: http://bit.ly/3Y4OXau This video is part of the 'Adriatic Trail VR experience' series, which will take you on the journey along the nine amazing destinations in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
