How much money do you spend on housing? We produced a documentary series about inheritance, investing, renting, and building: "Generation Housing Crisis" 👉 https://1.ard.de/generation-wohnkrise... Jan (33) is the operations manager at the Neumünster fire department. As a senior firefighter, he coordinates and is responsible for the fires. Jan may also be called out with his fire engine: This is often the case for major incidents such as traffic accidents or house fires. When Jan isn't on duty, he conducts staff meetings and manages the distribution of personnel among ambulances and fire engines (and, not to forget, the teddy bears on duty). Because he is responsible for quality management at the control center, he regularly evaluates emergency calls – to determine whether his colleagues responded correctly and to provide them with further training. Four times a month, Jan is on call, meaning he works 24 hours a day. We were able to accompany him on one of these calls and were even allowed to stay overnight at the ambulance station. #Salary #FireDepartment #Documentary --- This is "Is it worth it?": One person, one job, one life. And ultimately, the question: Is it worth it? We accompany people in their careers and show their lives. Is it worthwhile to work for a salary and use it to finance one's own life? What makes me happy at work? We don't just compare salaries, but show how people make a living from their work. We're always looking for people to share their stories: If you'd like to share how you make a living from your job, feel free to write to [email protected]! On a personal note: We're not infallible either – and although we make every effort to present every individual financial situation clearly, accurately, and understandably, we sometimes need help. The Bavarian Association of Tax Advisors and Auditors provides us with ongoing, competent support – thank you very much for that!
