Indian Student Saketh Sreenivasaiah Found Dead in California | UC Berkeley

Tragedy strikes as Saketh Sreenivasaiah, a 22-year-old student from Tumakuru, Karnataka, has been confirmed dead. Saketh, pursuing Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley, had been missing since February 9 and was last seen near Lake Anza in the Berkeley Hills. The Consulate General of India in San Francisco confirmed that local authorities recovered his body and extended heartfelt condolences to the family. The Consulate has pledged full assistance in coordinating with local officials and arranging repatriation of his remains to India. Earlier, Saketh’s roommate Baneet Singh had posted on LinkedIn seeking public help to locate him, urging anyone with information to come forward.
