Johnny Appleseed Read Aloud for Kids Tall Tales and Fables for kids John Chapman (September 26, 1774 – March 18, 1845), better known as Johnny Appleseed, was an American pioneer nurseryman who introduced apple trees to large parts of Pennsylvania, Ontario, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois, as well as the northern counties of present-day West Virginia. He became an American legend while still alive, due to his kind, generous ways, his leadership in conservation, and the symbolic importance he attributed to apples. He was also a missionary for The New Church (Swedenborgian) and the inspiration for many museums and historical sites such as the Johnny Appleseed Museum[2] in Urbana, Ohio, and the Johnny Appleseed Heritage Center in Ashland County, Ohio. The Fort Wayne TinCaps, a minor league baseball team in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where Chapman spent his final years, is named in his honor. ♡ MUSIC: musopen.org Performer: Steve Jones Title: Sonatine III Tempo di menuetto Links to our Read Aloud Books for Kids : 1- The Three Little Pigs : • The Three Little Pigs by Dara Goldman - B... 2- Jack and the Beanstalk : • Jack and the Beanstalk Fairy Tale | READ A... 3- The Tale of Benjamin Bunny : • The Tale of Benjamin Bunny by Beatrix Pott... 4- Gulliver's Travel : • Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift Audio... 5- Swiss Family Robinson : • Swiss Family Robinson Chapter 1 (Easy Peas... 6- Jack Sprat Nursery Rhyme : • The Original 1873 Jack Sprat Nursery Rhyme 7- King John and Prince Arthur : • King John and Prince Arthur (Part One) Aud... 8- The Gingerbread Man: • The Gingerbread Man - Fairytales and Stori... 9- Thumbelina • Thumbelina READ ALOUD - The Classic Fairyt... 10- Sleeping Beauty : • Sleeping Beauty READ ALOUD - Fairytales an... 11- Rumpelstiltskin : • Rumpelstiltskin Story READ ALOUD - Fairyta... 12- Chicken Little : • Chicken Little READ ALOUD - Fairytales and... 13 - Hansel and Gretel (Part One) : • Hansel and Gretel Read Aloud PART ONE - Fa... 14 - The Three Billy Goats Gruff : • The Three Billy Goats Gruff - Fairytales a... 15 - The Bremen Town Musicians : • The Bremen Town Musicians READ ALOUD - Fai... 16 - The Hare and the Tortoise : • The Hare and the Tortoise READ ALOUD Fable... 17 - Casey Jones : • Casey Jones Read Aloud - Stories and Tall... 18 - Rapunzel : • Rapunzel Read ALOUD for Kids - Fairytales ... 19 - The City Mouse and the Country Mouse : • "The City Mouse and the Country Mouse" Rea... 20 - Hansel and Gretel (Part Two) : • Hansel and Gretel Read Aloud for Children ... 21 - The Little Red Hen : • The Little Red Hen Read Aloud for Kids - F... 22 - The Tale of Peter Rabbit : • The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter... ------------ IMPORTANCE OF READING ALOUD • Reading books aloud to kids is widely recognized as the single most important activity leading to language development.
