On this episode of 2 Women Sailing, we leave Old Point Comfort and motor through Norfolk, Virginia. Along the way we catch sight of War Ship 24, a ship that commemorates the Sept. 11 attack on the Pentagon. Then we spend a day in nature exploring Battlefield Park in Chesapeake, Virginia. We belly up the shore of the Intracoastal Waterway and watch as the boats speed by. North Carolina is in our sights! We hop our way along many anchorages as we move south and experience barges and entertaining bridge openings. By the end of our latest journey, we meet up with the Navy again at Mile Hammock, NC!
