When the tube will be filled with topsoil it will become very heavy. For this reason, I put a cross tubes at the bottom, propped on the vase. For this purpose you can use small aluminium tubes or tubes dedicated to external electrical system. The procedure to fill the tube is easy but a bit long. You should put gradually the topsoil, press it very well with a flat basis stick, until you leave the space to insert the plant. This will avoid the topsoil to collapse during watering without sucking the plants or leaving empty spaces.
