Welcome to the Red Barn Cavaliers Puppy Pen! This is Daisy's 7 1/2 week old litter of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. This week they will be getting ready to go home beginning on Saturday. We will pack their bags, give their first round of vaccinations, microchips, take them to the vet, and give them a final bath and toenail trim. Girls: Charlotte (lilac), Mochi (pink), Annie (pink collar with white paws) Boys: Jesse (black), Henry (green), Chance (blue) Robin and Daisy are two of our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Robin is a Blenheim and Daisy is a tricolor. Robin's puppies are almost ready to go home! As of November 10th, they will be old enough to go home with their families. In the meantime, they will be receiving their first round of vaccinations, they will all be microchipped, be examined and cleared by our veterinarian, and get their last deworming dose from us at 8 weeks old. We are also preparing each puppy's "Go Home" bag which includes toys, blankets, food, and all kinds of other 'puppy starter' gadgets. Daisy's puppies turn 7 weeks on November 12th and will begin their busy "Get Ready to Go Home" week this upcoming weekend. Unlike most animal livestreams, we encourage our viewers to engage and ask us questions! We raise our puppies not just in our home, but instead where we are spending most of our time that they are developmentally ready for. Our young puppies, for example, are currently located in our bedroom. We leave the audio on so that viewers are always able to hear the puppies' adorable squeaks, purrs, "barks," howls, and more, but that means you may overhear some personal interactions. We prefer this format because we are able to easily provide context or clarity to viewers if necessary. We show you how we potty train our puppies starting as early as a week old, and how we nurture their training throughout their 8 weeks with us to hand off a well-trained puppy to their family. We breed and raise Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, with a very strong emphasis on their psychosocial development.
