This video is about my recent bus travel to Kailasakona waterfalls which is located very close to Chennai. It is located in about 80 kilometers from Chennai. Kailasakona is located near to Puttur town in Andhra Pradesh. In this video I took a budget challenge where I have to go and come back to my home a least budget of 200 Indian rupees (INR). At first, I started from Lucas bridge in Chennai. From Lucas bridge, I took share auto 🛺 to Madhavaram bus terminal. From Madhavaram junction, I took MTC bus 🚌 to Redhills. From red hills bus stand, I took bus to UTHUKKOTTAI which is a green 💚 bus 🚌. After reaching uthukkottai , I bought boiled 🌴 PALMYRA SPROUTS for 20 Indian rupees (INR) and boiled Cassava roots for 20 Indian rupees (INR). I ate the Cassava and kept the PALMYRA 🌴 SPROUTS aside to eat later when I get hungry during the exploration. From Uthukkottai, I took PUTHUR bus 🚌 to reach a place called ARANYAM KANDRIGA BUS STOP or simply KONA. I got down from the bus at ARANYAM KANDRIGA BUS STOP and waited for shared auto 🛺 to come. When you get down at the bus stop on the left side, you will fin an iron arch and a road leads on same left side towards the Kailasakona waterfalls. The falls is about 2 kilometers from the ARANYAM KANDRIGA BUS STOP. This is a walkable distance and I strongly suggest to walk , the reason is that, while walking to main waterfalls, you will encounter another falls called THOTTIKONA FALLS in a half kilometer on the road side. There you will fine a park and if you enter the park with soke nominal minimum fee, you will find the THOTTIKONA WATERFALLS inside the park which is located at the foothills. After visiting this park and falls, if you exit and come out to the road, again you need to walk forward where you can see another park and guest houses 🏠 . And if you continue to walk some more on a road seems like leading to uphill, you will find the main gate of the Kailasa kona falls and before the gate on the left side you will find two hut shops where you can purchase country chicken 🐔and handover to the same shopkeeper and they will prepare a spicy non vegetarian dish for you with that country chicken 🐔 and they will charge some amount for cooking and also they will prepare some rice and rasam for you which are included in the charges. The shopkeeper will prepare and keep all those dishes ready when you return from the waterfalls after having a thundering ⛈️ shower 🚿 from the waterfalls. At the main gate of the Kailasa kona or Konai Waterfalls, there are murukku vendors grannies who prepare and sell these delicious Indian snacks and raw mango vendors who cut the mangoes 🥭 in different artistic shapes and sell them sprinkling dress chilli 🌶 and pepper powder on the mangoes.
