It's been three months sine we moved to Barbados in the Caribbean on the digital nomad Welcome Stamp programme. My husband and I are both first-timers on this island and after hurricane Elsa, we had some time to pause and look back on our journey. In this video, we share the reflections we've had from living here for the past 3 months (April, May, June 2021). We cover accommodation, what we like about the island, the climate, grocery/ food shopping, buying local produce, things to do, and natural disasters. We also share our experience of the ash fall from St Vincent & the Grenadines' volcanic eruption, the other natural disasters and climatic challenges faced as well as our insights on the government of Barbados and the island management in general. Hope you enjoy this video - we're not natural camera people however we are doing this video to share our personal journey with you in the hope that it may help you make a more informed decision about moving here too, or visiting the island.
