Read more here: www.hitthefloor.com Facebook: www.facebook.com/hitthefloormag Twitter: www.twitter.com/hitthefloormag We hadn't actually secured some time with the extremely in-demand Dallas Green (aka City and Colour) but as we were wrapping up another interview in the buzzing Reading Festival press tent when we got a signal that the much loved Canadian singer-songwriter had a few moments spare to chat about his UK/EU tour, the news of which had literally just been released! As we rushed over, slightly panic stricken, interviewer Sophie Eggleton managed to tangle herself in the Mic, which Dallas kindly rushed to rectify without a second thought. Post technological disaster waiting to happen, the gentlemen kindly went on to tell us about his upcoming dates which kick off in January and what a year 2013 has been. Those who opted for his folky formula over Fall Out Boy at Leeds and Reading were united in their gushing. As per usual, the man who has made music his life, delivered a beautiful set, which not only displayed his gargantuan talent but also his gentle, self deprecating charm.
