And it’s a very capable car, offering plenty of room inside, particularly in the back, a decent amount of power from its V6 engine, and a strong infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But while the Cadenza has no remarkable flaws that demand criticism, it also doesn’t provide a distinctive or memorable driving experience, leaving a bland aftertaste that will not help this relatively new car make a strong or lasting impression. The Cadenza’s priced in the same range as the Buick LaCrosse, Chrysler 300, and Toyota Avalon, and Kia’s warranty is the best in the business. Yes, it’s cost effective, and that will help it win sales from practical buyers, but we’d like to see future versions offer something more distinctive.
