According to music industry sources on Monday, RM will take the stage on the second day of the APEC CEO Summit, speaking during a cultural session themed “The Cultural and Creative Industry in the APEC Region and the Soft Power of K-Culture.” RM is expected to draw from his experience as the leader of BTS, the group that has become the face of the K-pop phenomenon, to share his insights on the influence and global significance of Korean culture. Lee Know contributed 100 million won each to Samsung Medical Center and the cat protection group “Nabiya Saranghae.” At Samsung Medical Center, the funds will help cover treatment, surgeries and transplants for both adult patients with serious illnesses and children in need of medical care.
