🎵 An original folk ballad inspired by the Shipwright’s Regret dungeon from Elder Scrolls Online’s Ascending Tide DLC. This narrative-driven song tells the story of Captain Za’ji’s expedition into the haunted shipyard where the legendary All Flags Navy was once built. 🎮 ABOUT THIS PROJECT: As a long-time ESO player and content creator, I wanted to create something unique that celebrates the rich lore and atmosphere of one of my favorite dungeons. I wrote the lyrics, directed the musical style (inspired by Gordon Lightfoot’s narrative folk ballads), and crafted this tribute to capture the haunting beauty of Shipwright’s Regret. While I used AI tools (Suno AI) to generate the music, the creative vision, lyrics, structure, and storytelling are entirely my own work. ⚔️ THE STORY: Shipwright’s Regret is located in eastern Rivenspire and was once a thriving shipyard during the First Era. It played a crucial role in building the All Flags Navy that defeated the Sloads during the Thrassian Plague. Now abandoned and haunted, adventurers must help Captain Za’ji venture through the cursed boatyard to recover ancient ship designs, facing three deadly bosses along the way. 📜 FULL LYRICS: [Verse 1] East of Fell’s Run where the shadows creep Lies a shipyard cursed, where the spirits weep Once they built the All Flags Navy grand The mightiest fleet in all Tamriel’s land [Chorus] Down to Shipwright’s Regret we go Through the haunted yards where cold winds blow Captain Za’ji seeks the plans of old But the dead won’t rest, and their grip is cold [Verse 2] When the Thrassian Plague swept o’er the sea The Sloads brought death and misery Here they hammered, sawed, and toiled with pride Built the ships that turned the bloody tide [Chorus] Down to Shipwright’s Regret we go Through the haunted yards where cold winds blow Captain Za’ji seeks the plans of old But the dead won’t rest, and their grip is cold [Verse 3] At the lumber yard, Bradiggan waits A spectral wraith who guards the gates Foreman still in death as he was in life His ghostly crew wields hammer and knife [Bridge] Rats and spiders, centipedes crawl Torchbugs flicker on the rotting wall Slaughterfish lurk in waters deep Where drowned men’s bones eternally sleep [Verse 4] In the logging camp reclaimed by wood Nazaray rises where the timbers stood Spriggan fury, nature’s vengeful art With wasps and spirits, she’ll tear you apart [Verse 5] At the derelict ships, our final stand Captain Numirril, Maormer damned Sea elf pirate of the Dreadsails crew His water magic crashes over you [Chorus] Down to Shipwright’s Regret we went Through the haunted yards our courage spent We claimed the plans that Za’ji sought But the price of secrets is dearly bought [Outro] So raise a glass to those who dare To walk through death’s domain and stare At Shipwright’s Regret where glory died And all that’s left is ghostly pride 🎼 MUSIC STYLE: Folk ballad inspired by Gordon Lightfoot’s “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” - narrative-driven, acoustic, somber and atmospheric. 🏆 BOSSES FEATURED: • Foreman Bradiggan - Spectral wraith at the lumber yard • Nazaray - Spriggan boss at the Reclaimed Logging Camp • Captain Numirril - Maormer pirate and final boss 💬 This is part of my ongoing project to create original musical tributes to Elder Scrolls Online content.
